                                                          Since its invention in 1865, many improvements have been made to the workings of the bicycle. However, one major component of the bicycle has remained the same for nearly 140 years, and that is the motion and design of the pedal assembly.  Riders have been limited to a circular motion with short cranks that provides limited leverage for the operator. 

The Sherer Company has designed the next generation of bicycle technology that will change the way cyclists ride, using a modified pedal and chain assembly, which provides the rider with over 3.5 times more power then the traditional design. The pedal arms can be pedaled independent of each other ie one at a time, in rhythem, both at the same time, an adapter can be installed connecting the pedals together so the rhythm is established.

Sherer frames are the finest quality  hand built with Chrom Moly tubing , our pedal arms are CNC 7075 T6 .

The Sherer Company is pleased to announce that our trikes are adaptable to those with special needs. Our pedal system helps people  that find it difficult to pedal in a circular motion but now we can gear each side individually to accommodate those that have suffered loss of strength on one side contact us for details.
